Venturing out to try oral lube was a new one on me. I’d never considered the idea of wanting to flavour blowjobs or cunnilingus with a flavour but here I am. Caramel flavoured Oral Pleasure lube in hand from Secret Play. A Spanish brand that has recently landed in the hands of Latex Leather and Lace and I’ve been sent some free of charge for my perusal and honest opinion.
The oral lube comes in a pump action bottle. It has a picture of caramel melting on the front and speaks of a mid-range product. The label is a pale yellow with black writing and whilst it does say that it’s an oral lube on the front, it doesn’t immediately speak of anything naughty.
It’s a 50ml bottle comes with a clear cap. Whilst trying the lube the only thing I really noted was that the label was a paper label and where I’d dripped the lube or grabbed it with lubed fingers it had made the paper go slightly funny. The paper is stuck the bottle so it’s not easy to remove either but if it really annoys you, you could soak the paper off.
The bottle was also confusing when I opened it up, I expected it to have a tube down the middle. The pump must be super strong to be sucked all the way up; how that will work when the bottle gets slightly empty, I have no idea!
Looking at the ingredients, it’s no surprise to see the lube has glycerin and sweetener in it. This is normal in a flavoured lube but always worth pointing out that if your vulva owning partner has a sensitivity then this lube might not be for you or for use with just a penis owner for a sloppy blowjob but might want to make sure you’ve licked the last drop to avoid any nasty yeast infections. No one wants what CandySnatch Debs calls ‘an infectional benching’ ! SO, therefore, I didn’t try it internally on this occasion as I prefer to use non-glycerine lubes for internal.
It says that it may contain traces of shell and milk, so may not be fully vegan but the rest of the ingredients seem perfectly fine.
Colouring and Flavouring
Interestingly I was mixed on the colour, it’s not quite the dark brown of chocolate but it’s a, funnily enough, caramel looking colour so I guess it speaks of what it actually is! It’s equally not the most flattering of colours that you’d expect to be licking. I’d be a little concerned about getting the lube on delicate bedding but when you have some Sheets of San Francisco like I do, you can go hell for leather on them and not be worried as it washes off so easily.
The flavouring was extremely sweet but what can you expect for caramel? I wouldn’t say it was yummy as in I’m going to go off and pour on my cereal but it the lube tastes nice and a little goes a long way. It’s sweet but not overpowering.
I really liked this lube, Secret Moments pride themselves on being paraben free and other than the ingredients are basically food! So as it says, it’s 100% edible and will leave you salivating at the mouth for some more cheeky oral action. I would say that the viscosity is extremely runny – it doesn’t stay where you put it so pump and go! 🙂
You can get the lube for £14.95 from Latex Leather and Lace here. It comes in a couple of flavours including Chocolate and Nuts, and White Chocolate and Strawberry.
This lube gets a DivaFoof 8/10.
